Ok folks I’m on one lol.
I’ve decided to try and gain 8 lbs of muscle by January.
This is probably going to be hectic but I have a slick idea.
The next two months ill have a quick income boost. I will use that to focus on better supplements and more steak. Ill also have slightly shorter hours so I’ll have more time to hit the weights.
I’m going to alternate between a 3 day and 5 day workout cycle and make sure I eat 100+ grams of protein everyday.
This through protein shakes, chicken breasts, cheeses and so forth.
My aim will be to have 100 grams of protein from the time I wake up to the time I leave work.
Then hit the gym and have a shake right after that is carb and protein loaded.
After that dinner. And should I miss the previous shake, that shake will be had at bedtime, preferably with Casein protein in it.
The dinner meals will be brown rice or potatoes most days with a meat, fish, and green vegetable- ideally spinach as it’s my vegetable of choice.
Between this new meal pacing and varied workouts to trick my muscle and maximize volume it is my belief that these actions coupled with greater quality sleep and at least 7-9 hours a day of said sleep will guarantee growth.
